Where you say ‘I do’ is a huge part of the magic of your big day, no matter it’s size, so we’ve gathered a list of locations on Puerto Rico’s west coast that may help you find the right location for saying your vows to your future spouse. Rincon Rincon is a quiet little surf town, perfect for a fairytale elopement. The beauty of the island does not disappoint, as you drive through the streets of this laid back destination, catching glimpses of the breath taking views. Playa Los Almendros Rincón 00677 Almendros Beach is one of those beaches that just feels like paradise! It has an amazing view, beautiful white sand and interesting natural features for your wedding photography. The day we were there, it was a little bit busy at the entrance to the beach, but less than five minutes down the beach, there was no one. There are several hotels in the area with varying prices and design details. Feel free to let us know if you’re looking for something specific and we would be happy to try to recommend one! (Picture of Pool's Beach)Pools Beach (AKA: Sandy Beach West) Carretera 413 Ramal, Aguada, Rincón 00602 Pools beach is a magical secluded beach tucked in the corner of 413. You’ll want to park on the side of the road and walk down the short trail, where it opens up to a white sand beach clearing to the right and a more narrow strip of beach off to the left which you can walk for about 10 minutes or so, for an even more secluded ceremony space. If you’re looking for somewhere nearby to stay, there is Pool’s Beach Guest House and Apartments right beside the beach with it’s own private entrance onto the sand, which would make walking out to your ceremony easier, if you are not planning to do a first look. There are also plenty of other boutique hotels and Airbnb’s to stay in nearby. You can find Pool’s Beach Guest House and Apartments on their website, for easy booking: Availability - Apartments at Pools Beach Rincon Puerto Rico | Beachfront Lodging (rinconpoolsbeach.com) Aguadilla (Pronounced Agua-Deya) Aguadilla is also filled with natural beauty, but offers a little more city-life for those looking for quick access to amenities like golf and shopping. Surfer’s Beach Cliff Rd, Maleza Baja, Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, Aguadilla 00603 Surfer’s beach is a palm tree paradise. The beach is lined down the beach with tall palm trees, ready to shade you from the hot Carribean sun. There are large rocks and cliffs nearby for some amazing wedding portrait potential. When looking for somewhere to stay nearby, there is Punta Borinquen Resort. They are equipped with modern suites and are less than 10 minutes from Surfer’s beach. If you’re looking for something different, there are plenty of amazing Airbnb’s available for rent in the area. Punta Borinquen Resort | Punta Borinquen Resort (bqnresort.com) Punta Borinquen Beach Borínquen Ave, Aguadilla Pueblo, Aguadilla 00603 Punta Borinquen Beach is just a few minutes south down the coast from Surfer’s Beach and is one of my favorite beaches in the area to relax! There is tons of sand here, so if you want to social distance, there is plenty of room to do so. The last time we were there, there was only one other couple on the whole beach. And, the trip before that there were two other families watching the sunset with us. (Sunset self portrait at Punta Borinquen Beach, just of the small bridge)Looking for more ideas? Stay tuned, we’ll keep sharing our favorite beaches, to make the process easier for you to find your dream location!
